Daniel A Kurtz
Dan hails from New Baltimore, MI, and graduated as a Presidental Scholar from Oakland University with his BS in Chemistry in 2013. While there, he worked under Greg Felton and spent a summer at Brookhaven National Laboratory working with David Grills. Dan received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019 as a Kenan Graduate Fellow. While at UNC, he worked in the lab of Jillian Dempsey studying PCET reactions involving transition metal hydride complexes.
